Estimates, not advice

Every figure on this site is an estimate computed from the FY 2026-27 rules described on the methodology page and the assumptions you set. It is not tax, legal or financial advice, and it is not a payslip, an offer, or a statement from any employer or authority. Your actual salary depends on your employer's structure, your declarations, and the law as it applies to you. Confirm with a chartered accountant before you rely on a number.

Accuracy

We check the rules against the Finance Act and test the engine, and we fix errors we find or that are reported to hello@ctcinhand.in. Even so, the site is provided as is, without any warranty that it is accurate, complete or up to date, and we are not liable for decisions made on the strength of it.

Using the site

• The calculators are free for personal and commercial use.
• You may link to any page. You may quote figures with attribution to ctcinhand.in.
• Do not scrape the site at a rate that affects other users, and do not present its output as official.

Embedding the calculator

You may embed the calculator on your own site using the code on the embed page, free of charge, provided the credit link stays visible and unmodified below the calculator and the embed is not placed on a site that is unlawful or misleading. We may change or withdraw the embed at any time; we will try to give notice on the embed page first.

Accounts

If you create an account, keep your sign-in method secure and tell us if it is compromised. We may close accounts that abuse the service. You may delete your account at any time by emailing us.

Content and trademarks

The site's text, design and code are ours unless stated otherwise. "CTC in Hand" and the logo are our marks. The tax rules themselves are public law and are not claimed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts with jurisdiction in India.
