Salary inputs

The calculators, the salary slip generator and the hike calculator run entirely in your browser. The CTC, deductions, names and amounts you type are never sent to a server and never stored by us. If you copy a share link, the inputs travel inside that link; anyone you send it to can see them.

Traffic and logs

The site runs on Cloudflare. Cloudflare keeps standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer, timestamp) for a short period for security and debugging, and provides us with aggregate, cookie-free analytics such as page views per country. We do not run third-party analytics, advertising pixels or fingerprinting scripts. Links from other sites may carry a ref parameter that tells us which site sent you; it identifies the site, not you.

Accounts

Signing in is optional and, at the moment, not open to everyone. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. If you sign in with a magic link, we store your email address and send the link through Resend, our email provider. A session cookie keeps you signed in. We use these details only to run your account and, if you have agreed, to email you about the product. You can ask for your account and its data to be deleted at any time by writing to hello@ctcinhand.in.

Embedded calculator

When another website embeds the calculator, the embed loads from our domain and receives only the embedding site's hostname (for attribution) and the pre-filled CTC, if any. The embed sends its own height to the host page so the frame fits; nothing else passes between the two.

Cookies

Without an account the site sets no cookies. With an account it sets the session cookie described above and the security cookies our sign-in library needs. There are no advertising cookies.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, and withdraw consent. Email hello@ctcinhand.in; we reply within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and the changelog notes it.
